The latest tour, album and band news from Lamb Of God.

About

Lamb of God formed in 1990 as ‘Burn The Priest’ when John Campbell, Mark Morton and Chris Adler met in their dorm at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. Nine years later, with the addition of Randy Blythe and Willie Adler (Chris’ younger brother) Burn The Priest evolved into Lamb Of God.

Lamb Of God have seen major success as part of the ‘New Wave Of American Heavy Metal’, and use the tagline ‘Pure American Metal’. The latest album release came in 2012 with Resolution, which debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200.

Lamb Of God have released six studio albums, one live album and three DVD’s. The bands sales are over two million units in the USA alone, and this has led to several notable tours and festival slots, including main support for Metallica.

Lamb Of God gained huge media interest in the summer of 2012 when frontman Randy Blythe was arrested in the Czech Republic on suspicion of manslaughter, owing to the death of a fan due to injuries sustained at a 2010 show.  After a lengthy incarceration according to Czech law Randy Blythe was initially bailed, and later acquitted of all charges.
