Lamb Of God Partners With Specticast For Worldwide Distribution Of “As The Palaces Burn” Feature Film.
Lamb Of God are pleased to announce that they have entered in to a worldwide distribution deal with Specticast (Led Zeppelin Celebration Day, Paul McCartney Rock Show) for their Don Argott (Last Days Here, Art of the Steal, School of Rock) directed feature film “As The Palaces Burn”. Filming for the feature began in 2012 and concluded in March of 2013.
“As The Palaces Burn”, not to be confused with the making-of documentary packaged with the recent re-release of the 2003 LAMB OF GOD album of the same name, was conceived to be a documentary focused on the power of music and its impact on cultures around the world and its ability to bring together people of all nationalities regardless of religious or political differences. After a worldwide casting call, filming took place in Colombia, Venezuela, Israel, India, and the United States. As filming reached its conclusion, the documentary was forced to take a major turn when the band’s lead singer, Randy Blythe, was arrested in the Czech Republic and charged with the murder of a fan in June 2012. Granted unique access to Blythe’s continuing saga, Argott’s filming covered Blythe’s 38 day imprisonment in Prague, his release and the band’s return to live performances, and finally Blythe’s trial for murder in Prague in February 2013.
“As The Palaces Burn” will debut worldwide on February 27th. Following the film, a 30 minute Q&A with the entire band and director Don Argott will be shown. The Q&A was conducted by VH1 Classics Eddie Trunk and filmed at the final show of the band’s North American tour in support of their most recent release, Resolution.

Lamb Of God Announce ‘As The Palaces Burn’ 10th Anniversary Remastered CD And DVD
Ten years ago, Lamb Of God released their debut album ‘As The Palaces Burn’. To celebrate this momentous occasion, they have gone back and remastered the entire album with Josh Wilbur (producer on Wrath/Resolution). They’re also reissuing several of the As The Palaces Burn t-shirts as deluxe versions of the set.
The remastered CD includes a new bonus dvd documentary, 3 previously unreleased tracks and new album liner notes.
Chris Adler stated; ”We are lucky to have the opportunity, a decade after our first attempt, to bring what I consider to be our master work up to speed sonically. Ever since the original release we’ve been distraught about the sonic qualities of ‘As the Palaces Burn’. Decapitated and Huntress announced as support acts for Lamb Of God’s 2014 Europe/UK tour.
Lamb Of God have announced that special guests on their upcoming 2014 UK/Europe tour will be Decapitated and Huntress.
The UK dates will be the start of the conclusion to Lamb Of God’s Resolution World tour that has spanned two years and over 35 countries. It is currently expected that the band will begin writing the follow-up to Resolution after a break, although there has been no official confirmation of this as yet.

Lamb Of God’s October 23rd Show In Quebec Has Been Cancelled
It would appear that Lamb Of God’s October 23rd 2013 show at Pavillon De La Jeunesse in Quebec, Canada has been cancelled. There has been no official word from Lamb Of God as yet.
Online ticket sales site, Evenko states:
“Due to circumstances beyond the bands control, the LAMB OF GOD/KILLSWITCH ENGAGE show with TESTAMENT and HUNTRESS on October 23 in Quebec City is canceled. No other information is available at this time, however all bands will do their best to play for fans in Quebec City as soon as possible. But good news: the ticket holders for the October 23 show can attend the October 24 performance in Montreal. Their tickets will be honored at the Metropolis or they can get a full refund at the original point of purchase. IMPORTANT: The last day to get a refund is October 1st.“

Chris Adler Says Lamb Of God Have “A Little Surprise Before The End Of The Year”
We love surprises, and especially Lamb Of God surprises, so we were happy to hear that Chris Adler posted the following message on his FaceBook page today.
In the short message he discusses the bands success with summer festivals in Europe, and his part in recording drums for the new Protest The Hero album. Unsurprisingly we aren’t going to see Chris dedicate much, if any, time to playing shows with Protest The Hero.
Chris signs off with talk of a ‘few big announcements’ regarding tours and a little surprise at the end of the years. Well, I’m fairly certain the big tour news is going to be Lamb Of God playing in new countries, it’s recently become public knowledge that Lamb Of God will be in South Africa next year.
As for the surprises, we’ll have to wait and see?!

Things have been going really well on this trip for us. The band is playing well and much of the hard work we have put in is being rewarded with great slots on the festivals we are doing and huge side shows in between. I feel very lucky to be a part of where we are right now and am enjoying it quite a bit.
I’ve now heard the Protest The Hero record and it’s fantastic! I love listening to it and hope you all do as well. I’ve been asked many times on this tour that since I played drums on the record if I will be touring with them or would consider playing on other projects. I’m fairly sure my schedule won’t allow for me to properly join their band and tour. As much as I love the music, I love being with my family too! LOL. We shall see as it’s not even something we have discussed.
As for other projects, it’s hard to answer that. I was a fan of PTH and jumped at the chance to step out of my box a little bit, push myself and explore my capabilities. It turned into quite a daunting task, but I’m much better off for it. I think I’d have to evaluate every opportunity in the same way. Obviously my main focus is LOG, it’s still my heart and soul and I’m loving being able to get out and share it with you.
We’ve got a few big announcements coming soon regarding tours that will end the Resolution cycle and a little surprise before the end of the year. Stay tuned – and stay metal!

Lamb Of God Partners With Killswitch Engage For North American Tour
Long-time friends LAMB OF GOD and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have joined forces for what will undoubtedly be one of the essential “can’t miss” tours of the fall of 2013. The tour launches October 22 in Toronto and canvases much of the U.S and Canada. The two bands are a dominant live pairing, and will combine for 28 North American shows in total. Support for all shows except Los Angeles will be provided by thrash legends Testament, with Huntress opening all shows.
LAMB OF GOD will end the North American portion of the Resolution record cycle with this tour. It will include a coast to coast visit to all major Canadian cities which will be LAMB OF GOD’s first visit to Canada on this cycle other than a festival play in June in Montebello and a show in Toronto in January 2012. In the last year, both Ashes of the Wake and Sacrament have been certified gold in Canada. LAMB OF GOD will finish the Resolution cycle completely with a visit to Europe and South Africa in January 2014. Details on that tour will be released late August.
Both LAMB OF GOD and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE have been wanting to hit the road together for quite some time now and are both excited to finally get the chance. They have also made sure to keep the ticket prices as low as possible so that all of their fans can come out and have a good time with them on this tour.

Lamb Of God Vocalist Randy Blythe Pens Memoir, Signs North American Book Deal With Da Capo Press
During the next few weeks while Lamb of God is gearing up for several dates overseas in August, vocalist Randy Blythe is busy gearing up for the release of his upcoming memoir. The memoir, which puts emphasis on the past year of his life, is an incredible, harrowing, heartbreaking, and redemptive story told in Blythe’s already well-recognized writing style. It seems that almost every major media outlet has attempted to righteously cover the story of Blythe’s arrest, incarceration, trial, and acquittal for manslaughter in the Czech Republic last year, but now, the man at the center of it all unveils the truths of the ordeal, personally detailing every aspect in his own words.
